75 minutes. Not intended for those with a simple popular taste in music,
'Beyond The Edge Of Darkness' features sprawling soundscapes that require
patience from the listener. This music has been designed to fill a room,
and the minds within it.
Journey from the depths of a wailing widow in 'Existentialism',
whilst piercing the aethyrs in 'Transcendence To Light'. Moods
are vast and varied as your subconscious travels these
polarizing paths.
Definitely an album
created for listening from beginning to end to achieve the desired
effect, 'Beyond The Edge Of Darkness' is an album that will take you on
a journey inside you mind, and leave you feeling transformed. Whilst not
an album of catchy guitar riffs, 'Beyond The Edge Of Darkness'
is an album of sprawling grandeur that is sure to stand the test
of time.
Note: These songs are not
professionally produced in a big studio with lots of money and
expertise. Think of them more as a demo tape. For example I would have
liked more interesting and intricate drum parts and orchestra in certain
areas of the album, but it just wasn't possible.
